The further you stand, the better you see... but the closer you get, the better you understand the whole.

My work is a synergy of parts that create the simplicity of the piece as a whole.
You look at the large image first, then move into the many other layers that create that image. The result is almost a narrative of the subject.

Part of the challenge of this process is in looking for just the right pieces to add to the work for the viewer to find. There are tiny almost unseen images, text that is part of the story of the piece, and even personal paper bits.

The final piece is a true ?one of a kind? artwork that can never be exactly duplicated.
